Uvaa is an Indian comedy and social drama film, written and directed by Jasbir Bhaati[1] and produced by Dhanraj Films.[2] The film is about five friends in a boarding school and their daily life suddenly turning into a rebellion to fight for justice and make an example to the outside world. Neram (English: Time) is a 2013 Indian comedy thriller film, written, directed and edited by Alphonse Putharen in his directorial debut. Simultaneously made in the Malayalam and Tamil languages, it stars Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Bobby Simha in both versions. Supporting roles were played by Manoj K. Jayan, Shammi Thilakan, and Lalu Alex in Malayalam and Nassar, Thambi Ramiah, John Vijay and Shabareesh Varma portrayed the characters in Tamil. The whole film is set within one day in Chennai. The music was scored by debutant Rajesh Murugesan while Anand C. Chandran handled the cinematography.[3] The Malayalam version released on May 10, 2013, while the Tamil version released on May 17.[4] The film's both versions received positive reviews upon release. The film is going to be remade in marathi as Time Bara Vait starring Bhushan Pradhan reprising the role of Nivin Pauly.[1][5][6][7]

He was averse to sentimentality and moral allusion in painting, and was a leading proponent of the credo "art for art's sake". Bianca (Mae Whitman) is enjoying her senior year of high school with two close friends Jess (Skyler Samuels) and Casey (Bianca Santos) who are significantly more popular than she is. She is also the neighbor and former childhood friend of Wesley "Wes" Rush (Robbie Amell), a star on the school's football team, with whom she has fallen out during high school. She has a crush on guitar-playing Toby Tucker (Nick Eversman), and reluctantly attends a party hosted by mean-girl Madison Morgan (Bella Thorne), hoping to talk to him. The party turns out to be a disaster for her, as it's there that Wes unthinkingly reveals to her that she is the "DUFF" of her friend group, the "Designated Ugly Fat Friend." The DUFF does not actually have to be ugly or fat, he explains, it's just the person in a social group who is less popular and more accessible than the others in the group. People exploit The DUFF to get to the popular people.
Bianca is insulted and devastated, but she soon realizes that Wes is right. The students in her high school are only interested in her as a way to get to Jess and Casey. She takes her anger out on Jess and Casey and 'unfriends' them on social media and in person.
Bianca later overhears Wes and his science teacher (Chris Wylde) speaking, where his teacher tells Wes that unless he passes the midterm, he's off the football team, which can cost him his football scholarship. Desperate to change her social standing, and go on a date with Toby, she strikes a deal with Wes, where she will help him pass science if he'll advise her on how to stop being a DUFF. They have a fun time at a mall, and attempting a makeover by buying new clothes. This backfires when Madison's toady records Bianca playing around in her new clothes and pretending that a mannequin is Toby. They create a video ridiculing Bianca and post it online?leading to the entire school mocking her. It also becomes clear that Madison?a reality-TV wannabe?feels possessive of Wes, her on-again-off-again boyfriend, and is jealous of Bianca's relationship with him.
Wes advises her not to let the video destroy her. Instead, he advises that she own it and just be upfront with Toby, by talking directly to him and asking him out. When Bianca next sees Toby at school she does ask him and, to her surprise, he accepts. Bianca takes Wes to her favorite spot in the forest, her "think rock", to plan a strategy for the date. They kiss, but joke about it and pretend it didn't mean anything. At Bianca and Toby's date at his house, she discovers that he is DUFF'ing her?spending time with her in order to connect with Jess and Casey. She confronts him about it finally seeing him for the shallow and superficial jerk he really is and leaves in tears. Seeking Wes to talk with him about the date, she finds him at the thinking rock kissing Madison.
Angry with Toby and Wes, she reunites with her friends, Jess and Casey, who all along were genuine friends with her and they, along with her understanding mother (Allison Janney), convince her to go to the homecoming dance with them, in an outfit that they make together?incorporating elements of her previous wardrobe such as her flannel shirts. At the dance, Bianca tells off Madison?saying, essentially, that we are all DUFFs who should be true to our own identities. Madison is crowned homecoming queen, and Wes is crowned king, but he rejects Madison and the title, and kisses Bianca in front of the whole school. In the end, her article about homecoming is a hit with the students and Bianca is going to attend Northwestern University while Wesley goes to Ohio State, still together.

Life appears normal for two siblings Rebecca and Tyler (Olivia De Jonge and Ed Oxenbould) until their mother (Kathryn Hahn) leaves them at their grandparents' (Deanna Dunagan and Peter McRobbie) house for the first time while she's away on vacation. The siblings discover that their grandparents' behavior has become deeply disturbing. Despite being warned not to come out of their room past 9:30 P.M., their curiosity coaxes them out and they realize that something terribly wrong is taking place. They fail to convince their mother to come to their rescue and are left on their own to face the untold horrors and mystery that surround their now evil elders.

CIA agents and best friends Franklin "FDR" Foster (Chris Pine) and Tuck Hansen (Tom Hardy) are deployed to Hong Kong to prevent international criminal Karl Heinrich (Til Schweiger) from acquiring a weapon of mass destruction, but the mission goes awry, resulting in the death of Heinrich's brother, Jonas. Heinrich swears vengeance against them. Upon returning to America, their boss, Collins (Angela Bassett) assigns them to desk duty for their protection.
FDR is a womanizer, whose cover is a cruise ship captain, while Tuck, who presents himself as a travel agent, has an ex-wife, Katie (Abigail Spencer) and a young son, Joe (John Paul Ruttan). After being rebuffed by Katie when he attempts to rekindle his connection to his famIly, he sees a commercial for online dating. Tuck decides to sign himself up and is paired with Lauren Scott (Reese Witherspoon), a product-testing executive who is dealing with the recent engagement of her ex-boyfriend. Her best friend, Trish (Chelsea Handler) enrolled her in the same online dating website. FDR insists on being Tuck's backup for the date and hides nearby, but Tuck and Lauren hit it off right away.
Shortly thereafter, FDR runs into Lauren at a video store and tries to flirt with her, not knowing she's Tuck's date. She surmises that he's a ladies' man and ignores him. Intrigued, FDR crashes into one of Lauren's test groups and persuades her to go on a date with him. The date does not go well at the start, with Lauren storming out of the club FDR takes her to. After arguing in the street, FDR walks away from Lauren but seconds later, Lauren sees her ex-boyfriend and his fianc?e approaching. Desperate, Lauren grabs FDR and kisses him and lies to her ex that she and FDR are together, as FDR plays along with the ruse. Her ex and his fianc?e both seem jealous at the passion displayed, and later move along. FDR demands that Lauren explain what just happened and suggests they grab some dinner at a nearby pizza parlor, where they talk seriously and hit it off. Later, Lauren feels guilty about dating two men at the same time, but is persuaded by Trish to make the best of the situation.
FDR and Tuck soon discover that they are seeing the same woman and decide not to tell her that they know each other, not to interfere with each other's dates and not to have sex with her, letting her instead come to a decision between them. They soon break their rules and use CIA technology and assets to spy on her, discover her preferences and sabotage each other's chances with her. FDR and Lauren eventually have sex. Tuck and Lauren nearly have sex but she decides against it, feeling bad about sleeping with both the men. However, since Tuck sabotages FDR's surveillance devices in her apartment, FDR is convinced that Tuck and Lauren did have sex.
Lauren and Trisha discuss the pros & cons of dating more than one guy and Trish advises Lauren on how to pick 'the guy that'll turn her into a better girl'.
After a while, Lauren invites Tuck to lunch, while FDR discovers that Heinrich has arrived in town to exact his revenge. He interrupts Lauren's date to warn Tuck but Tuck doesn't believe him. They engage in an extended fight, after which Lauren discovers that they are in fact best friends and, feeling made a fool of, leaves with Trish. At that moment, the women are kidnapped by Heinrich and his men, who are pursued by FDR and Tuck.
FDR and Tuck rescue Lauren and Trish after a car chase, in which they reveal that they are not who they say they are. On Lauren's advice, they shoot out the headlights on Heinrich's SUV, deploying the airbags and sending the car rolling out of control towards them all. With Lauren standing directly in the path of the approaching SUV, FDR and Tuck, on different sides of the road, urge her to come to their side and she is saved as she ultimately chooses FDR's side, while Heinrich dies when his car rolls off the elevated freeway and crashes below. Lauren has decided to be with FDR and Tuck makes amends with him, as they declare their brotherly love for one another, and FDR says they're "family, and forever." Lauren and FDR kiss. Tuck soon reconciles with Katie and remarries her.
Shortly thereafter, FDR and Tuck go on a mission. They are about to parachute out of a Chinook helicopter when FDR reveals that he will marry Lauren, and asks Tuck to be his best man. He reveals that he had sex with Katie before she met Tuck, but no longer feels guilty about it because Tuck had sex with Lauren. Tuck, however, reveals that they did not go all the way and angrily tackles FDR out of the helicopter.

Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is a 2012 American 3D computer-animated comedy film, produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Paramount Pictures.1 It is the third installment of the Madagascar series, a sequel to Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, and it is the first in the series to be released in 3D. Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria are still struggling to get home to New York. As a means of getting passage to North America, the zoo animals join a circus, where they become close friends with the animal performers, especially Gia (Jessica Chastain), Vitaly (Bryan Cranston) and Stefano (Martin Short). Together, they spectacularly revitalize the business and along the way find themselves reconsidering where their true home really is.
The film was released on June 8, 2012, to critical and commercial success; it is the best-reviewed film in the series, with a 79% "Certified Fresh" approval rating on the review aggregate site Rotten Tomatoes.[5] It is also the highest-grossing Madagascar film with a worldwide gross of over $746 million.[4] A spin-off/sequel titled Penguins of Madagascar was released on November 26, 2014. Ted is a 2012 American comedy film directed by Seth MacFarlane. The screenplay by MacFarlane, Alec Sulkin, and Wellesley Wild is from MacFarlane's story. The film stars MacFarlane, Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, and with Joel McHale and Giovanni Ribisi in supporting roles, with MacFarlane providing the voice of the titular character. The film tells the story of John Bennett, a Boston native whose childhood wish brings his teddy bear friend Ted to life. However, Ted prevents John and his love interest Lori Collins from moving on with their lives.
The film is MacFarlane's feature-length directorial debut,[3] produced by Media Rights Capital and distributed by Universal Pictures. The film was released on June 29, 2012, and was a critical and commercial success, becoming the twelfth-highest-grossing film of 2012. Star Trek Into Darkness is a 2013 American science fiction action film and the sequel to Star Trek (2009). It is the twelfth installment in the Star Trek film franchise and the second installment in the reboot series. The film was directed by J. J. Abrams from a screenplay by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof based on the series of the same name created by Gene Roddenberry. Lindelof, Orci, Kurtzman and Abrams are also producers, with Bryan Burk. Chris Pine reprises his role as Captain James T. Kirk, with Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Bruce Greenwood and Leonard Nimoy reprising their roles from the previous film. Benedict Cumberbatch, Peter Weller and Alice Eve round out the film's principal cast. The film was the last time Nimoy would portray the character of Spock, and his final film appearance before his death in 2015.
The plot of Into Darkness takes place one year after the previous installment, with Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise sent to the Klingon homeworld seeking former Starfleet member-turned-terrorist John Harrison. After the release of Star Trek, Abrams, Burk, Lindelof, Kurtzman and Orci agreed to produce its sequel. Filming began in January 2012. The film was converted to 3D in post-production. Into Darkness was a financial success and garnered positive reviews, but was controversial among some Star Trek fans.
